A: Yes, for companies it is possible to pay by invoice. The administration fee is €17.50 excluding 21% VAT.
Q: I want to cancel my booking, is that possible?
A: Cancellation is possible, but there are some certain conditionsthat apply. When you book the MYSTERIUM, Cornelis Vossius is counting on your arrival and reserves the space for you.

Q: Can I come with a large group?
A: If your group is larger (more than 10 people), we combine the escape room with a city game, quiz, guided tour, workshop or other fun activity in Utrecht. Anything is possible! Our colleagues at Puur* Utrecht are specialized in group activities for more than 15 people. They also offer escape-like games

Q: Is escape room MYSTERIUM suitable to play with children?
A: Every child is different, of course. A child who is very scared might not like our room less enjoyable (we are absolutely not a horror room, but the music does become more exciting, for example). Therefore, we do not have a minimum age requirement. However, we do ask that at least one adult always accompanies children under 15. For children's parties, we have an age limit of 11 years, and we also expect at least one adult to accompany them. The maximum group size of 10 people also applies here.
Q: Is an escape room in Utrecht a suitable teambuilding activity?
A: Trust me. This is more exciting than eating sushi or bowling together. A: Due to the limited space in our medieval wharf cellar, we do not have a large waiting area. Therefore, we always ask groups to arrive no more than 10 minutes before the booked time. We do not sell drinks or snacks, fortunately the center of Utrecht is full of nice catering stablishments. horecagelegenheden.
Q: In which languages can MYSTERIUM be played?
A: Mystery can be played in Dutch and English. Please specify your preferred language when booking.
Q: Is escape room MYSTERIUM wheelchair accessible?
A: Unfortunately, escaperoom MYSTERIUM is not wheelchair accessible; they didn't take this into account in my time... There is a chair in the room for people with limited mobility to sit on
Q: How much time will we spend in the escape room?
A: We work with fixed time slots to welcome as many people as possible in a day. The actual escape experience lasts a maximum of 60 minutes, but with the introduction, debriefing and photo afterwards, people are in for up to 90 minutes. Additionally, the host needs time to prepare the room for the next group. As a result, there is a 1 hour and 45 minute gap between each shift.
Q: Are you recording us in the MYSTERY? Can you send me the tape?
A: What do you think? A MYSTERY always remains a mystery. The cameras are there for your own safety and for the control room to guide you through this real-life puzzle. All riddles and challenges never leave the MYSTERIUM.
